Introducing The School For The Dogs Scholarship Fund

Good training can keep dogs out of shelters. Introducing the School For The Dogs Scholarship Fund, making training affordable for more families.

At School For The Dogs, we believe that good training can and should be an integral part of every dog’s life. So often, a little bit of training can make a world of difference to a dog and his or her human family. Behavior issues are the number one reason that dogs are abandoned, and we are proud to have helped countless people modify their lives with their dogs in ways that have resulted in them being able to keep their dogs out of the shelter system.

Unfortunately, because of the high costs associated with running a business in New York City, too often dog training is priced in such a way that it seems like something only available to those who can afford luxuries. This is why we have just introduced a scholarship fund. The goal of this fund is to help those who are looking for assistance in paying for training for rescue dogs. So far, we’ve received several generous donations from clients who have dogs who’ve had transformative experiences working with our trainers, and we’ve been able to help several dogs in foster care find homes by providing them with subsidized training.

Thanks to a fiscal sponsorship, all donations are tax deductible.
